Needing a Little More Vitamin D to Meet Expectations
An interesting article was posted this morning in Nutra Ingredients. The article cites a recent study that links increased incidence of bacterial vaginosis with low vitamin D blood levels. Vitamin D is one of those vitamins that you can get both through the diet and also by being exposed to UVB radiation from the sun. Unfortunately many women have sub-optimal levels which may increase their risk to the vaginosis, or at least that is what the study implies. Here is the link to the article.
